All schools are required to have a comprehensive school safety plan in place. As a portion of this plan, Warren Central and Walker Career Center have provided all students with a school picture ID card, appropriate lunch card assignment, lanyard and a protective case to display these items. It is the expectation that all students have their ID's and lunch cards visible as explained and demonstrated on announcements and via public address within the building. If your child does not have these items, they should see their guidance counselor or respective cohort office for assistance.
Community Hospital and the Marion County Board of Health are excited to have the opportunity to bring FREE FluMist vaccine to the students of Warren Township. Seasonal FluMist is a gentle mist that is sprayed into the nose to help children reduce their risk for contracting the flu. FluMist will be given to all students who are medically eligible and return a permission form to school by November 3rd.
At this time, exact dates are not available but we can expect the FluMist to be administered during the first part of November. Information will be coming home with your student. It is important that the required forms are returned to school by November 3rd.
